Shopping for Germs

So, did you see the horrifying story on The Today Show this morning on shopping cart germs?  I always used a shopping cart cover for my first child, but now that I have two, my oldest prefers to ride in the race car shopping cart.  It has enough room for both of them up top and they have steering wheels for each of the girls to play with.  Did I say "play with??"  I wonder how many germs are having a holiday on those?   What am I to do??  I still use the shopping cart cover when it's just me and my one year old.  I guess I should be better about taking my own wipes and wiping the cart.  Just another thing to keep me up at night!  If you don't already have a shopping cart cover, I highly recommend the Buggy Bagg (seen below).  It is soft, has a pillow that is great for helping the smaller babies sit up, and it's machine washable.  You can find it online.  In the meantime, stock up on those antibacterial wipes!

Let the buzz begin!

I did it!  I've decided to write about all the buzz surrounding motherhood.  That doesn't mean just dirty diapers and 3 a.m. feedings, but feeling like a woman, being a great wife, and spending time with friends.  I left a career in advertising to be a stay-at-home mom.  I love my two little girls and treasure each day I am home with them, but let's face it, in order to be a good mom, you must take care of "mom."  There's a lot of buzz out there about motherhood.  I'll share mine and hopefully help other moms along the way.
